Hey Everyone,
Just an incredible first day for the Campaign. We crossed $2,000 and have reached 67% of our funding goal on day one. Woo Hoo! We are blown away by the support, enthusiasm and love you guys brought to our little comic.
Some fun numbers:
- It took us five hours to hit the same funding total we hit in five days for the previous TFT Campaign for Issue #1.
- We hit 38 backers today - 6 more backers than I had for the entire 30 day campaign for my first Kickstarter four years ago.
- One dead possum in my garage. Yes, we found a dead possum in my garage this morning and it was my job to dispose of it. But I had a Kickstarter to run, so that little guy had to hang out for a while. I thought this discovery might be some kind of curse for the campaign. But We Rocked It Today! And eventually I got rid of the possum, so we're all good.

Over the course of this month I'll be sharing some other creator's awesome campaigns. The first one up is Monster Matador! Monster Matador is a delightfully demented Kaiju throw-down that follows Matador Ramon Alejandro Estévez Guerrero as he travels a post-apocalyptic future to fight monsters and make a better world for his daughter. Creator Steven Prince and I frequent the same Comic shop here in Culver City, Pulp Fiction Comics, and the first time I ever put TFT on their shelves, I placed it right next to a copy of Monster Matador. His campaign has 2 more days so check it out and grab all the stretch goal goodies.
